Scope of work included the expansion of an existing walkway at the Kahului Airport between the existing South Terminal Holdrooms A and B to create a new Holdroom ‘AB’ with a new passenger gate and loading jet bridge and construction of a new outdoor seating area and garden deck. Work also included the renovation of the existing open covered walkway at the second level concourse of the South Airport Terminal and removal of existing walls and sliding doors that separate the Holdrooms A & B from the walkway. The project also inlcuded a 2-acre expansion of the aircraft parking apron, and restriping of aircraft parking positions.
